Daniel Kofi Kyereh joins VfL Osnabrück

VfL Osnabrück has signed 30-year-old forward Daniel Kofi Kyereh on a free transfer. The Ghanaian was previously with SC Freiburg. He will reunite with coach Timo Schultz, whom he played with at FC St. Pauli.

Why Kyereh joined Osnabrück

Kyereh was frequently injured in the past and couldn't establish himself at SC Freiburg. The 18-time Ghana national team player hopes to get a new chance at VfL Osnabrück. "I know from our collaboration what special qualities Kofi has as a footballer and as a person. He was a real difference-maker at St. Pauli and earned his achievements through his footballing class, but also through a lot of hard work", said Schultz.
