FC St. Pauli is looking for a new goalkeeper, after Nikola Vasilj left the club. The Kiez-Klub may be interested in young keeper Florian Hellstern from VfB Stuttgart. Hellstern has a contract until 2030 and would be hardly affordable. Instead, a loan deal with a six-figure loan sum is in the realm of possibility. The young player is to gain valuable experience in a higher class after successful years in the youth sector and recently in the 3rd league (26 appearances). FC St. Pauli is not the only club interested in Hellstern. Paderborn, Fürth, Hannover, Kiel and Cottbus have also shown interest in the goalkeeper talent. FC St. Pauli will not pay to secure Hellstern. The search for a new goalkeeper will focus on other price segments.
